Fashion Month A/W 24: The Colour Edit
Marking the close of this season’s fashion month (February 9 to March 5), Stylus’ trends experts unveil four of the key colour stories that materialised on the catwalks in New York, London, Milan and Paris for A/W 24. An offbeat new ‘how-to-wear’ colour statement and an update for perennial pink were among those that caught their eye.
IN THE MIDNIGHT HOUR
Classic midnight blue looks new for understated PM dressing (as seen at Gucci and Victoria Beckham), and also adds an authentic appeal to key season-ready items like the brass-buttoned pea coat. Watch for pretty forget-me-not blues working as an accent to this highly commercial colour.?
JUICY FRUITS
Juicy autumnal fruits are the inspiration for this luscious palette of deep berry tones, set to bring instant fashionability to a wide range of products next winter. Work the palette across luxe coat weights, sleek leather, plush party-ready velvets, and barely there sheers.?
