Fashion, glam, wine, and the heat: InnovaModa 2024
Since its first runway show in 2012, InnovaModa has become a signature event of Tijuana Innovadora. Ever since, the goal has been to make connections and strengthen a community that has been growing for years, aiming to become a fashion cluster while showcasing emerging fashion talent and strengthening our creative industry ecosystem.
Every year, InnovaModa holds a contest for professional and emerging designers to let them explore their talent and sharpen their fashion design abilities. At the same time, they try to earn a spot at InnovaModa’s Fashion Show.
InnovaModa 2024, a Fashion Experience, took place at Valle de Guadalupe on September 6th and 7th. This event is part of a project by Tijuana Innovadora dedicated to the fashion industry since 2010 and aligns with the growing popularity of Valle de Guadalupe in Baja.
The event featured individual runway shows from designers who won InnnovaModa’s Fashion Designers Contest and an expo of local wineries and brands related to fashion, wellness, and lifestyle.

The Fashion Show featured collections by Carlos Hernández and Jahazari álvarez as individual collections and the team of Samantha Santiago and Miranda Maldonado, with a team effort collection—as well as professional designers Grecia Soto, Luis Armenta, and Oseas Villatoro. And as headliners Jeanette Toscano, Ricardo Encinas, Galo Bertín, Ary Villa, and Llenuel Fro.
The twelve wineries showcasing their product of tradition were Casta de Vinos, Bruma Winery, Bodegas Henri Lurton, Adobe Guadalupe, Lechuza Vineyard, Micha Micha Wines, Cavas Valmar, Valle de tantos, Vena Cava Vinícola, Pouya Wines, Vinícola Emevé, and Vi?edo El Refugio.
Entrevalle Hotel Boutique, Miles & Louie, Aurum Intense, INDóMITO Glamping Resort, The Pangea Valle, Casa Victoria Valle, OKOXAL, Serendipia—soy candles and essential oils, Varana Essentials, and Lady Paola were the brands with pop-out stores at the Fashion & Experience Zone. Handmade bags and hats, Atento Filmworks, Sunio, Panta Rei, PAVI Italy, HAUTE á PORTER MEXICAN COUTURE, Lucha Jiménez, Jeanette Toscano and Agua en el desierto.
