Farewell 2019

Farewell 2019

The seasons have come, the seasons have gone in what has been a whirlwind 2019. As I pack away my suitcase for the last time this year, I’m ever-so grateful when I look back on the adventures I’ve had working virtually and face-to-face, being at six conferences and in 12 cities.

Some of my highlights

  • Mentoring and coaching some fabulous minds and souls
  • After many years of working together, meeting colleagues for the first time face-to-face
  • Going to the USA for the first time
  • Revisiting other cities multiple times which also means being able to discover new restaurants, pubs and other places to share with my friends there.
  • Having friends walk your feet off showing you around the city you are visiting (and refreshing you with glasses of bubbles)
  • Forging new relationships, creating new collaborations (you know who you are!)
  • Being a contributing author to new ways of working
  • Creating learning videos that people enjoyed watching
  • Developing and Delivering new presentation and workshop topics
  • Seeing people’s faces light up with interest and happiness when new knowledge pinged their brain circuits!
  • Scaring myself by stepping out of my comfort zone and handling the ‘lowlights’ better than I have before.

For 2020 - creating new realities! Furthering my arena in Machine Humanity and bringing skills like Emotional Intelligence and Change Resilience into stronger focus for people, and facilitating people’s experience in finding their equilibrium. Continuing to research, explore and write, making a positive impact on the industry knowledge we share and absorb. Be present in the moment and courageous in my choices and actions. In essence, live the joy of continuing to evolve and become who I want to be when I grow up!

My deep thanks to my clients for your trust in my expertise. I am very much looking forward to seeing you in the New Year. To my colleagues and friends, your support means much and know I am here for you also.

Whatever your highs and lows were this year, remember to be kind to yourself and others.

May your holiday season be one of making great memories and may 2020 manifest your heart’s joy.

Thank you for the valuable knowledge you share, wishing you the very best for 2020!
