Fare Thee Well

The new year has only just begun but it already exacts a heavy toll.

I have learnt with great trepidation of the untimely demise of my beloved pupil master George Mbeya Mugoye of Mugoye & Associates Advocates. He was a great man who taught me, foremost, the practice of the law as I now do.

At times my master was strict to a fault, but this was not out of pettiness, it was because he took pride in the quality of his work. His was a practice that did not entertain frivolity, masquerading and other undesirable aspects of legal practice. The law was his love and so he made it mine.?

They say manners maketh a man, it is an adept adage that applied with utmost distinction to my master. He was always properly dressed as a legal practitioner and was suave in all his interaction with others.

As a bastion of litigation and conveyancing practice, George Mbeya will be missed, and he leaves big shoes for the next generation of Lawyers to fill.
