Far From Thy Road
Beloved ! I cannot be far from Thy door
Cannot be satisfied with paradise and with Huris.
My head is on Thy threshold by love's command, not for wages
Whatever I may do, I cannot bear to be away from this door

M'arif Kurkhi (m. h. s. b. s.) has said :—" The Sufi is a guest here ; it is a molestation that the guest should exact anything from the host; because a guest hopes only for politeness and claims nothing."
