Employers looking to maximize their employees’ benefits have countless choices to consider. One of those considerations is finding a dental plan that provides great benefits to employees, while also being a cost-effective option for employers. Paramount Dental understands that and is passionate about making affordable, quality dental benefits easily accessible. With more than 3,000 proprietary in-network providers and 100,000 providers nationwide through their leased dental networks, Paramount Dental has the coverage and the experience to retain 95% of members year over year. We sat down with Maggie Irwin, Regional Sales Manager, to learn the basics of Paramount Dental Plan offerings.
Q: What plans are available to employer groups?
A: Paramount Dental offers fully-insured and self-funded plan options. Plans are available on an employer paid or voluntary basis to any size group with low participation requirements. Employer groups must be domiciled in Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, or Michigan, but can have employees that reside in any state.
Q: How do I search for in-network providers with Paramount Dental?
A: To search in-network providers, employees can visit insuringsmiles.com/FindADentist. We encourage our members to choose an in-network provider to ensure the lowest possible out-of-pocket costs for covered services.
Q: Why should I choose Paramount Dental?
A: Paramount Dental understands the importance of offering benefits that enable members to have a seamless healthcare experience. With a Paramount Dental plan, members have access to benefits including no waiting periods, pre-existing conditions, or missing tooth clauses. While Paramount Dental has a large proprietary and national dental network, they also have multiple out-of-network reimbursement level options. In addition, Paramount Dental will mail member ID cards directly to employees to avoid added work for employers, and low participation requirements to make sure even small groups are covered.
