Does your Monday begin on Sunday? For many, it begins every Sunday at 7 PM, yes, the same uneasy feeling, and you experience palpitation. A flurry of thoughts about next week floods your mind. Monday morning meetings, forecast calls, reports, and deadlines.

The pressure builds, and you can't sleep on Sunday nights. As a result, you are underslept, cranky, and irritable on Monday mornings.People don't want to be around you, and you don't want to be in front of them, either.

The pressure to perform well in Monday meetings can be high for many people, especially if the preceding weekend has been filled with unresolved issues. It can lead to feelings of stress and anxiety as the workweek begins, with the fear of not having enough time to complete tasks and prepare adequately for the meeting.

Now you've already heard the quick fix multiple times: prioritize and plan ahead, make a to-do list, prioritize tasks based on importance, and allocate sufficient time for each item. Yes? Then why does it not work? It's because you took much care about extensively using your mind but need more care about the mind itself.

To solve any problem it is important to first ascertain if it is an exception or a trend.

If it is a mere aberration, don't read too much into it; power on. However, if it is a repeat show, you know there is a problem deep inside. You need to fix the root directory. Talk to people, seek help, and don't incubate on it.

To help you get started here's a checklist of situations to self-assess your

FAQ - fatigue quotient.

  1. Physical exhaustion: feeling tired, weak, or run down
  2. Mental exhaustion: difficulty concentrating or staying focused
  3. Emotional exhaustion: feeling burned out, lacking motivation, or feeling irritable
  4. Sleep disturbances: trouble falling or staying asleep or feeling excessively sleepy during the day
  5. Decreased productivity: making mistakes or having difficulty completing tasks
  6. Decreased motivation: losing interest in work or avoiding responsibilities
  7. Impaired immune system: increased susceptibility to illness
  8. Headaches: tension or stress-related headaches
  9. Muscle aches and pains: resulting from tension or repetitive motions
  10. Stomach problems: such as indigestion, nausea, or loss of appetite


If you scored more than 3/10.

You don't need to be a doctor, psychologist, or medical professional; to know; it is time to hit the pause button and fix it. While you still can.

If you scored more than 6 /10

Stop reading this and get help. You need help, talk to people, don't wait.


Listen, if you think you are Superman, remember that even he succumbed to Kryptonite. Get your math right about your mental health. If you worry it will cost money, it will not solve the problem but increase it. Then you land up spending more money. Get it?

Hard fact: If you hit the bed and die, the only people you put in trouble are those financially dependent on you. Rest, KGFNP, will move on. They will go back to their Mondays just as usual.
