Q: What happens if the work is more or less than the flat rate?
A: 80% of the time, this concept works seamlessly. In the event the actual scope of work is not what was ordered, both the seller and buyer can come to an agreement and make adjustments to the order on the spot.
Q: What if the buyer pays for the work and the seller doesn't deliver on time?
A: The money is held in escrow via a third-party payment processor (Square) and will only be released to the seller once the buyer accepts delivery. This saves both users time and the effort of the collection process.
Q: What happens if there is a dispute between users?
A: This is rare as we vet our users, both buyers and sellers, and filter out the bad apples through our scoring system. In the event of a dispute, the money will be released to the party based on the ruling of their case.
Q: How much does it cost to use the platform?
A: Sellers list for free, allowing them to keep all their hard-earned money and focus on delivering job results. Buyers pay less than 4% of the transaction total, covering admin and credit card processing fees.
Q: How is my data secured?
A: All money-related transactions are processed and secured by Square, with only you having access to your information. We don't share or sell your information or advertise other sellers on your profile page.
