I – The Birth

The fairy was born inside of a flower. As the flower started to blossom, the fairy started to wake up and move. The fairy…was the fruit of a thought of a being from a distant world.

The elf was born in the forest, over the branches of a tree. He was the fruit of a feeling of this same being.

Because they were fruits of the same being, she could feel, and he could think… They were like two parts of the same wish, where feeling and thinking became separated.

No one knows for sure what time their story began, because time was counted differently then.

The only certainty is that it found its place in a forest inhabited by magical beings.

II – The Fairy on the Flower

Soon after her birth, the Fairy wanted to go out of the flower, but she did not know how...

She walked several times around the flower, until its margins, and she felt dizzy when looking down. 

The Fairy returned to the center of the flower, and sat down.

She was feeling tired... 

Too many colors around, entering her eyes. 

She could feel the wind, the sun; and not knowing what to do, in order to get out from where she was,

She stood up, and started to sing like the wind.

The flower opened its petals a little bit more, by the sound of her voice, 

And also,

the Fairy’s wings opened; colorful, like butterflies’ ones.

The Fairy discovered that she had wings and gradually, 

That she could fly.

She spent the day singing and flying around the flower.

III – The Elf on the Tree

The Elf was actually born over the tree branches, like many elves. 

He was born when the first sunbeams touched the earth... 

From the vapor exhaled by the earth, as it touched the tree branches, he was born, as result of a feeling.

He was already born getting into trouble.

Not knowing anything about his own abilities, 

He transformed himself and ended up inside the center of the tree, 

Thinking of nothing.

He woke up there, 

In the dark,

Thinking of a way to go out of there.

He tried to climb the tree inside, but he always fell back and returned to where he was at first.

He calculated the height, 

Width, 

Depth... 

He was already born intelligent. 

But no matter how many calculations he did, 

He could not get out from inside the tree.

His thoughts, 

Rather than helping him, created more walls around him.

IV – The Encounter

The Fairy decided to fly around through the forest, 

To know the place.

She saw many flowers, other fairies, elves, dwarves, and undines in waterfalls…

And in the evening, 

She arrived at the center of the forest, 

Where she found a very large tree, 

From which heat emanated.

The Elf was increasingly cornered inside his own thoughts, and had almost given up the idea about trying to get out of the tree.

The fairy came closer and felt attracted… 

Suddenly, she was inside the tree, With the Elf.

It's hard to explain what happened at this moment... 

To think, and to feel, joined will — 

And from that moment, they became inseparable.

Not that they would stay stuck together all the time... 

But she could feel, what he was thinking

 And he could think, what she was feeling.

V – Transforming into Mist
