Fancy a Weight Gain program?

Most of the times many approached me to enquire about weight loss, and I would have a fun and easy solution for them. See https://lnkd.in/fz9HWmv on weight loss program.

However there is a small group of those who are the "lucky" ones who are born skinny, or during the growing up phase lost too much weight. No matter how much they eat, they would not gain any weight at all. Do you think they are the gifted ones?

However, that is not the truth. Being underweight has their own challenges.

  1. They fall sick easily due to low immunity. Whatever nutrition they eat will not be able to be absorbed effectively.
  2. They are more likely to have ulcers and skin sores due to poor health.
  3. They too have an equal chance to acquire high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or even heart diseases.
  4. They look scrawny and thin, compared to others who are healthy. They are likely to have difficulty in finding a good fit in clothes too.
  5. They have a low muscle mass.
  6. They may even have a high body fat content (big stomach on a small frame).

Most of the "underweighters" I met has been looking for a weight gain program, as being advised by their doctors, for health concerns. As being healthy is the top priority, we will need the body to restore the function. Being in a weight gain program is different from a weight loss program and it takes more time to see the results.

Weight gainers need to have lots of patience. It does not work by just plainly stuffing food into their body, and hoping it sticks.

They have to fulfill 4 tasks:

  1. Take in the required daily nutrition (and more if possible)
  2. Put in sufficient good calories for the day
  3. Do the right workouts to build muscle mass and END the workout with a good recovery drink.
  4. Repeat task #1.

Is it possible? Yes it is.

Is it hard? Yes it is.

Is it doable? Depends on whether you are serious and committed to it.

Many gave up halfway, because there is no guidance and no community support.
