False Claims against FasterCapital Exposing People who are Spreading Hate

FasterCapital is facing baseless accusations from individuals on Reddit and LinkedIn attempting to tarnish its reputation. The entrepreneurs making these accusations are refusing to acknowledge their own shortcomings, choosing instead to shift the blame onto FasterCapital.

Despite our extensive efforts, they failed to engage effectively, respond to opportunities, or demonstrate the commitment needed to secure funding. This unwillingness to take responsibility not only undermines their credibility but also highlights that the failure stems from their actions, not ours.

One such example is a startup that joined our program in 2021. We introduced the founder to at least four investors (as it is highlighted in the screenshots) and we have introduced them to two additional investors, yet they failed to reply to emails or follow up despite repeated reminders.

We always highlight that our program is non-exclusive and startups are allowed to raise funds independently, but this startup was unsuccessful even in their own efforts over three years. This clearly demonstrates that the failure lies with them, not FasterCapital.

To date, FasterCapital has supported over 740 startups, with written and video testimonials available on our website. While some startups may not succeed, the responsibility ultimately rests with them to capitalize on the opportunities we provide.

Attempts to share our side of the story on platforms like Reddit and LinkedIn have been silenced, with comments from our network deleted. While these platforms are valuable for discussions, they are also prone to misuse.

We will be turning off comments on this because frankly we don't have time to respond to people who don't read what we write and are not responsible enough to admit their mistakes. At least now they are exposed and everybody knows who is the scammer. Who is claiming to have raised EUR 2M without updating their website. Who is just lying and not able to address four questions we asked clearly and we waited for more than 2 weeks with no answer unfortunately.

I totally agree. I believe startups should hold more accountability and they should understand that it is a collaborative thing

Yes, many people are just using this term incorrectly. A scam is a company that literally disappears and does not deliver anything and not a company that delivered something you are not satisfied with.

Since you’re the judge and defendant of your own fraudulent actions, the choice is upon those reading to take these warnings baseless or true. But we’re not stopping here.
