Fall'22 Internship Experience At LoopBack Analytics
Arpit Vijay
Data Engineer | MS in Business Analytics, UT Dallas | Machine Learning | PySpark | Data Warehousing
It's been an amazing Fall semester full of learning not only at college but also during my Fall'22 Internship. I worked as a Data Analyst Intern at Loopback Analytics. Over the course of several weeks of training during the summer internship and receiving advice from my supervisors and coworkers, I had the wonderful opportunity to imply all the learning in this semester's internship. Along with learning a variety of new techniques and tools, I also had the chance to collaborate with a fantastic team during Quarterly meetings and become more familiar with Loopback's goals and objectives.
Through cutting-edge data-driven solutions, Loopback Analytics is a market leader in supporting health systems and academic medical centers' specialty programs. Loopback leverages robust analytics to position its clients to effectively identify growth opportunities for high-value medications, enhance patient outcomes, and prove the value of their pharmacy program to the integrated delivery network. According to the mission statement of Loopback, "enabling health system pharmacies to win.” These successes include ensuring that patients have access to medications, effectively monitoring patient data, raising medication capture rates, lowering the overall cost of care, and other outcomes that are made possible by cutting-edge data insights and first-rate customer service.
I gained a lot of knowledge related to the American healthcare system while working at Loopback. As a Data Analyst/Integration engineer pre-processing of data and service integration were two of my major responsibilities. For my work at Loopback, I extensively used Azure Databricks, Azure Storage Explorer, SQL Server, and MS Excel. I took pleasure in solving problems and finishing my biweekly sprints. I've improved my ability to solve problems and my technical understanding of Pyspark and SQL.

Reaching out to my team and learning from them was never a problem, not even during my remote internship. I'm grateful for all the support, chances, and information the team has given me. I want to express my gratitude to Taowan Yang and Quan Ninh for giving me this chance and for their unwavering support throughout my internship.
