(Green Bay, Wisc.) The Children’s Museum of Green Bay is announcing the release of their fall/winter event calendar. “With summer winding down its time to announce all the great events happening this fall at the museum.? We want to make sure our families know as early as possible, many of them sell out each year. From our Free Wheel Rock You and E.A.T Event and ending it with our Rockin’ New Years Eve Event it’s a full calendar that will surely have something for and excite everyone!”

Thursday, August 15: Wheel Rock You!

4:00 pm-7:00 pm WHEEL Rock You event presented by Children's Wisconsin.? This is a chance for kids to interact with their hometown heroes. This family friendly event is designed to allow children to explore, climb, and TOUCH vehicles of all shapes and sizes. Accompanying personnel will teach children about the equipment and vehicles displayed and how these machines help our local community.

Saturday, September 28: Nickelodeon Worldwide Day of Play!

In partnership with Nickelodeon the children’s museum will host a Worldwide Day Of Play.? Dedicated to providing the opportunity for playful learning, focusing on getting kids and their families to turn off the TV, get moving and act in their communities. The day is about giving children the opportunities to use not only their minds, and their voices.

The event will feature Nickelodeon character meet and greets (9:30am-10:30am- 11:30am), prizes, games, and projects, including a Blue’s Clues scavenger hunt, Rugrats obstacle course, bilingual activity station, Peppa Pig mud laboratory, and more.?

Pre-Registration is $5, Museum Members are free and walk-in admission is $8.

Friday, October 25: Booseum- A Dose of Gross

From 4 pm-7 pm the museum will be hosting our annual Halloween Party.? The event will include a Costume Contest with Prizes, Beatle Juice, Hocus Pocus and Ready Set Glow.? All STEM based play!! Make your reservations early this is going to be a sold-out event!

Saturday, November 23: Holiday Extravaganza

Join us following the Downtown Holiday Parade at The Children’s Museum of Green Bay to celebrate our Holiday Extravaganza. This fun filled Santa Fest will include Santa, Santa Selfies and photo opportunities, Reindeer games with Santa’s LIVE reindeer, a Jingle Bell Rock out featuring Let Me Be Frank Productions, Frank & Amy, Elf Snot Science and a Do You Wanna Build A Snowman Workshop. We can’t wait to see you. “Yule” be sorry if you miss it!

4pm – 6:30pm Tuesday December 3rd E.A.T (Easy, Affordable, Tasty)

Giving Tuesday, taking place on December 3rd, is a global day of giving that harnesses the collective power of individuals, communities, and organizations to encourage giving and celebrates generosity worldwide. The Children’s Museum will participate by hosting a FREE holiday family night at the museum with the Green Bay Police Department. The event is offered at no cost to museum guests, making the museum accessible for all through the community. The event includes a meal and museum admission.

December 4th: A Nite with John Kelley and the Fusion Xpress at Gather on Broadway

From 6pm -10pm enjoy A Night with John Kelley and The Fusion Xpress Orchestra. A Christmas concert at Gather on Broadway.? The Evening includes, heavy Hor d'oeuvres, concert, special holiday program, Christmas tree auction and a cash bar.? Tickets are $100 per person.

Breakfast with Santa on December 14th at Mackinaws Grill and Spirits

Join us for a truly magical event at Mackinaws Grill and Spirits. Guests can enjoy live reindeer, elf shenanigans, a delicious all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet, and meeting the most popular man in red, SANTA! After you mix and mingle with Santa, guests are invited to create in his workshop, enjoy a tasty cup of hot cocoa with toppings and other fun surprises. Register today to create a family memory for years to come.?Pre-registration required and limited. Cost is $25 person. This event sells out every year so make your reservations early!!

December 31st: Rockin’ New Years Eve

Tucker the kiddos out way before the last few minutes of 2024 at Kids Rockin’ Eve! This event is free with paid admission and has countdowns on the hour (11am-12pm-1pm). ?Kids will enjoy a variety of STEM Based projects!? Horn, Hats and lots of fun guaranteed!!

The Children’s Museum of Green Bay is located at 1230 Bay Beach Road in Green Bay, across from the Zippin Pippin Roller Coaster at Bay Beach Amusement Park. Along with past favorites, the new location offers several new exhibits including a toddler area and science lab. “Plus, we now have special event and party spaces and plenty of free parking,” explained Burnett. “We encourage people to check us out.”

Visitor Information:? The Children’s Museum of Green Bay is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and 12 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sundays.? General admission is $8 per person, seniors (62+) $7 per person, children under 15 months are free. Annual memberships are also available. There is a Children of Promise program allowing qualifying families admittance at $3 per person in the household.?
