Fall internship experience at Feel Good Edibles

During the Fall of 2022, I was lucky to be selected as a Data Analyst Intern for Feel Good Edibles. I am delighted to share the journey and experience I gained during the internship.

Feel Good Edibles is a food product manufacturer & supplier that specializes in fruity-flavored cannabidiol gummies. The company is true to its mission of making customers Feel good today for a happy tomorrow.

Working in an early-stage startup gave me greater involvement and visibility in decision-making. As a Data Analyst Intern, I got to work on various projects this fall. My work here involved recommending business process improvements and data comparison & analysis. I worked with the development team which helped me understand the domain functional knowledge in and out. I extensively used Power BI, Google Analytics, and Python to complete my project. I was always pushed to think out of the box and stand out. The worked with the marketing team where I set up a Google console that helps the company to analyze, maintain, and improve your site's presence in the search engine result pages and improve business strategy.

The most important lesson from this internship is that we must challenge ourselves daily. Allowing yourself to be a diligent learner and open to feedback will help you discover a new scope for your career. This attitude will give us a chance to learn something new every day.

I want to express my gratitude towards my manager Stephen Terrano and my colleague, Tony Pham, for guiding me on every step. Overall, this internship has given me an enriching experience that would add significant value to my career.

Lastly, I'd like to extend my gratitude to the Naveen Jindal School of Management, UT Dallas, Special thanks to my program director Prof. Mark Thouin, Donna P. Nix, UT Dallas Professors, and CMC for providing us with enriching learning and growth opportunities.
