Preferred Priority is here for you!

Preferred Priority is our seamless and enhanced disaster recovery program designed to help Preferred members in their time of need. Along with its partners PGCS, Engle Martin and BluSky Restoration, Preferred had essential resources staged for members prior to Hurricanes Debby, Helene and Milton. Preferred is currently assisting members who have been affected by these storms, and our thoughts and prayers are with all who have experienced the devastating effects of Debby, Helene and Milton. Let’s celebrate the 2024 Preferred Risk Management Award winners!

Preferred Safety and Risk Management Member of the Year Award Awarded to a member that has demonstrated continuous improvement through sound risk management practices as measured primarily by the performance of their organization’s insurance program.

Preferred Risk Management Professional of the Year Award Awarded to a risk management professional who has demonstrated outstanding performance in the practice of risk management for their entity as well as the risk management profession.?

Preferred TIPS - Safety is top of mind!

The Preferred TIPS matching grant program provides reimbursement of up to $5,000 per coverage year for current Preferred members who spend up to $10,000 on training/safety initiatives. The program supports risk management training and safety initiatives.

To be considered for a Preferred TIPS grant, members must complete a short application. Once the application is approved, the member can receive a TIPS grant. Items submitted for reimbursement must have safety/risk management value and relate to the lines of insurance coverage that the member has in place with Preferred.

Look at how some of our members are using their Preferred TIPS grants:

City of Lighthouse Point

The City of Lighthouse Point is definitely focused on safety! The City recently received a Preferred TIPS check to support their purchase of ADA mats for public safety. These mats help individuals who are visually impaired identify the transition from sidewalk to street, where a curb indicates a crosswalk or anywhere a ramp is located. Way to go, City of Lighthouse Point! Your focus on safety is commendable. City of Greenacres

Congratulations City of Greenacres for receiving a Preferred TIPS check to support your purchase of bunker gear for your fire department. Way to focus on the safety of your firefighters! Pictured from left to right are: Todd Taylor – Budget Manager and Yvens Marc – HR Generalist, Payroll.


St. Johns River Water Management District

Preferred Loss Control Consultant Mike Marinan met with Safety Dave to deliver a check for $5,000.00 to the St. Johns River Water Management District.?The District used the funds for First Aid training, tactical off-road driving and recovery training, as well as safety equipment such as?AED batteries and electrode pads. Congratulations for taking advantage of the Preferred TIPS program!
