Upcoming Events

October 7, 2024: Judith H. Greenberg Early Career Investigator Lecture

Saad Bhamla, Ph.D. , an assistant professor at the Georgia Institute of Technology, will present his talk "Fast and Frugal: Cells That Move Without ATP and Life-Saving Tools That Cost Pennies" at the 2024 Judith H. Greenberg Early Career Investigator Lecture .

The event will take place from 1:00-2:00 p.m. ET and consist of a 30-minute lecture followed by a 30-minute Q&A session. It will be geared toward undergraduate students. The lecture will be held on the NIH campus and will also be broadcast via Zoom. Register to attend .

November 20, 2024: DeWitt Stetten Jr. Lecture?

Sudha Chakrapani, Ph.D. , the John H. Lord Professor, chair of the department of pharmacology, and director of the Cleveland Center for Membrane and Structural Biology at Case Western Reserve University, will present her talk "Molecular Mechanisms Underlying Glycinergic Neurotransmission" at the 2024 DeWitt Stetten Jr. Lecture . The event will take place from 2:00-3:00 p.m. ET.

As part of the NIH Director's Wednesday Afternoon Lecture Series , this event will be held in Building 10's Lipsett Amphitheater and will also be broadcast via NIH Videocast .
