FAKE MONEY & FAKE INFLUENCE

FAKE MONEY & FAKE INFLUENCE

I originally posted this on a well known online marketing form. The reaction to this article was NOT pretty…

I am taking a lot of heat ?? and hate, but this NEEDS to be said to prevent more people from being SCAMMED.

I have a degree in Business Economics, and with the knowledge, I have acquired I can no longer stand by the side and let people getting scammed into false hopes and promising lifestyles.

Before I start I want you to know this:

I am all about supporting other entrepreneurs, but as we look around online, there are a lot of FAKE “Entrepreneurs” promising that they could teach you how to be wealthy with just your cell-phone. How to make $100,000 a day on YouTube. How to travel around the world while being an “influencer”.”

I am not saying these are not possible, but they are highly improbable for the majority of people. Why? Because of only a tiny percentage of people makes it to the top, and MOST people don`t have a clue about the work, money, and time that is needed to make it to the TOP.

These so-called entrepreneurs are just old school salespeople that are trying to sell you the promises of a comfortable and beautiful life.

What they don`t tell you is that A LOT of them are supporting their “easy dream life” by selling courses to the ordinary people.

TIPS FROM A BUSINESS MAJOR ON HOW TO AVOID SCAM:

If they can’t back up their millions in revenue with an actual income statement, then don’t lie about your success.

If they can’t provide actual claims about your revenue, expenses, and total net income, then stop posting unverified claims to make themselves look successful.

This whole culture of fake entrepreneurs that sell courses instead of the actual products is destroying trust in the online market place.

In economics, this is called a free-rider problem. These fake marketers are eroding trust in internet marketing, causing customers to trust everyone less and less.

GaryVee Video Experience Most people are salesmen but call themselves marketers.

I want to make it super clear that there is nothing wrong with sales. Nothing wrong with marketing.

Nothing wrong with making money.

But there should never be a price on integrity.

P.S. People are starting to call out fake influencers that rent out mansions from Airbnb, and Lamborghini to front their wealth and influence to get more clients to buy their courses.

Fake erodes trust. And any market that can not self regulate will either collapse under a lack of trust or be regulated from outside to reestablish trust.

FAQ:

Why should they provide evidence of their income if they are claiming they made millions?

Answer:

Would you buy a piece of stock in a company that won’t release their income statement?

No.

Would you support a charity that won’t release their financial statement?

No.

You get the point.

There are a lot of business guru, internet markers, self-made millionaires that claim to help you make millions but won’t give you the real numbers.

They won’t tell you their net profit. They won’t tell you how much expenses you have to spend to get it started.

They won’t tell you that they are just trying to make money from selling courses.

Stay safe, my friends.
