Faith on your part 2
Last time we began with the section on Faith on your part, which provided the Integrity of God. Today, we will continue with part of Faith on your side, covering God's ability and his covenant and faith of understanding.
2. God's ability
a) Almighty – Isaiah 45:5
Only he has the ability to give you what you really want. Bowing down to the devil will not get you that, although it will get a counterfeit and while losing your salvation and losing what you love forever. Your Isaac dies and never brought back to life (meaning your entire future, legacy and the bloodline of the Messiah (salvation).
You cannot expect something that lost everything to give you anything. Where is it going to get it from?
b) His covenant
He has exalted his word above himself. Whatever he says in this WORD it's what will take precedence above all.
THESE SHOULD BE GOOD ENOUGH TO CONVINCE YOU TO HAVE FAITH IN GOD.
Faith comes by hearing and hearing the word of God (Romans 10:17). This is your first encounter with faith.
As you grow deeper in the things of God. You will need to use the faith of understanding. You believe and know it because of what you know. The information which is the light you have concerning your God is what enables you to navigate and shine in the darkness (challenges, confusion, unknown and death).
This is the type of faith you have to use:
Because you know that God cannot lie (information/light), you believe with undoubtable certainty that whatever he says is true. Since he lived this entire timeline (information/light) you know that there are no surprises along your journey. Furthermore, you will decide that it is better to listen to God rather than the devil or people.
The action of acquiring higher light or intensive light in the form of information or revelation is a requirement on your part. This is how you develop your faith through the amount of light (information) you acquire.
The more you acquire information and/or revelation and practising it, the more you build up your faith (Jude 1:20). This is what makes the difference between generals, some have more information/revelation and experience (gained through practice) and therefore they can produce greater miracles and perform breathing miracles.
In your Christian journey, the onus is on you to find out about the challenges you are facing and find a solution to them. God has already revealed all (Romans 1:20), and he has spoken once; it is you who must listen twice (Psalm 62:11). Similarly, there is nothing new under the sun (Ecclesiastes 1:9) you are not the first one to experience that problem, and you will probably not be the last, provided the rapture does not take place soon. Therefore find the same solution, those that experienced it before, you found.
An important factor you must note: Your faith is individual (Habakkuk 2:4). Notice that it says “by his own” faith. It means it is something that is unique to your perspective and schemata.
Do not be surprised if fellow believers do not “get” you or support you. Not all faith is universal, some revelations are only given to you and you alone. It is up to you to drive it, without that expected support from people.
You will have to be strong and trust solely in God because that is where the resources and fulfilment of that vision will come from (Psalm 121:2).
