The Faith Walk

Greetings in The Mighty Name of Jesus, The Christ!!!

“1 Now Jericho was straitly shut up because of the children of Israel: none went out, and none came in. 2 And the LORD said unto Joshua, See, I have given into thine hand Jericho, and the king thereof, [and] the mighty men of valour. 3 And ye shall compass the city, all [ye] men of war, [and] go round about the city once. Thus shalt thou do six days. 4 And seven priests shall bear before the ark seven trumpets of rams' horns: and the seventh day ye shall compass the city seven times, and the priests shall blow with the trumpets. 5 And it shall come to pass, that when they make a long [blast] with the ram's horn, [and] when ye hear the sound of the trumpet, all the people shall shout with a great shout; and the wall of the city shall fall down flat, and the people shall ascend up every man straight before him.”

Joshua 6:1-5

“1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. ... 6 But without faith [it is] impossible to please [him]: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and [that] he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”

Hebrews 11:1, 6

Brothers and Sisters if you Walk as a Man that Sees, then Where is Your Faith? We are to Walk even as a Blind Man that cannot see, who must Rely on Someone To Guide Them In The Path Before Them. We must Walk In Obedience to See The Hand Of God Before Us, On Us and Through Us. But in order for this to take place you must Give Up who you are and Become The Child Of God, you Must Trust God in all Areas Of Life and Walk By Faith not knowing the End Result.

Throughout the Days Of Old Israel had to Walk not always knowing where they were going or what the outcome of an event would be. But their Trust, their Obedience was Unprecedented. Now before anyone contradicts, yes, many times they were Disobedient but they always had to Answer For It, and The Father did things with them that is, for the most part, unheard of today. But the one main important thing to get is they Had To Walk In Obedience and In Faith at the Same Time; they could not have done one without the other.

I can Read The Bible from cover to cover, I can go to Church seven days a week, I can hold a Position In Church or be part of a Group within the Church, I can give Food To The Hungry, I can Visit those in Prison, I can do All Manor of Things, but, if I Do Not Walk By Faith In Obedience it is All For Nothing!!! We are to Walk In Faith, being Obedient In All Things Concerning God!

If Israel had not Walked around Jericho seven times, if they had Not Blown The Rams Horn On The Seventh Day, the Walls Of Jericho would have never fallen, the spoils of the city would not be theirs. If they had not done things in the Order in which The Father had said, the result would not be the same. Israel did not know the Results From Their Obedience would actually occur, they only knew to do what was told of them to do and Trust in The Father.

Our Walk In Faith Through Obedience has an Outcome that right now we cannot comprehend, nor can we see, but we Walk never the less. Paul, our Brother, put into such a fashion as though we are in a Race and that we must Run The Race in its Fullness in order to Receive The Crown Of Glory.

“24 Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. 25 And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they [do it] to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible. 26 I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air: 27 But I keep under my body, and bring [it] into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.”

1 Corinthians 9:24-27

There are times that We Think we know Better than God, we think that Our Knowledge is Superior To Gods! We at times think that Our Ways are better because we Live In The Here and Now. There are times We Decide to go another Direction, all because We Think…Not By Faith…Not By Obedience, but by Our Flesh!!! There are times we Justify Ourselves, By Ourselves Walking In Disobedience!!!

“9 So Naaman came with his horses and with his chariot, and stood at the door of the house of Elisha. 10 And Elisha sent a messenger unto him, saying, Go and wash in Jordan seven times, and thy flesh shall come again to thee, and thou shalt be clean. 11 But Naaman was wroth, and went away, and said, Behold, I thought, He will surely come out to me, and stand, and call on the name of the LORD his God, and strike his hand over the place, and recover the leper. 12 [Are] not Abana and Pharpar, rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? may I not wash in them, and be clean? So he turned and went away in a rage. 13 And his servants came near, and spake unto him, and said, My father, [if] the prophet had bid thee [do some] great thing, wouldest thou not have done [it]? how much rather then, when he saith to thee, Wash, and be clean? 14 Then went he down, and dipped himself seven times in Jordan, according to the saying of the man of God: and his flesh came again like unto the flesh of a little child, and he was clean. 15 And he returned to the man of God, he and all his company, and came, and stood before him: and he said, Behold, now I know that [there is] no God in all the earth, but in Israel: now therefore, I pray thee, take a blessing of thy servant.”

2 Kings 5:9-15

Now there are a few things in this story about Naaman we need to consider in our own lives. Naaman had a Problem that he Could Not Fix, in his case it was Leprosy. Naaman was King his Position for Known and Seen by the People, but yet he did not have an answer that He Could Do.

Elisha, a Man Of God, Set By God, was Ordained By God, not man. Spoke a Word From God…Go and Wash. Go and Wash make yourself Clean By The Order Of God. Seven Times you must Walk In Obedience to Get The Results Of God! That you may be Healed From Your Infirmity!!!

Naaman, Mad, Upset, Frustrated because of His Infirmity, because of the Request That The Father made, Naaman did Not Want To Do It. Naaman Knew of the Rivers that were around and about him, that they Seemed To Be, Cleaner and Better than any water in Israel. Naaman Thought with His Flesh and was Reasoning within Himself a Better Plan. Naaman was going to Walk In Disobedience To The Word Of God Through The Man Of God.

Praise God, Naaman had Wise Council. The Scriptures tells us we are Wise If We Have Godly Council…

“1 Blessed [is] the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. 2 But his delight [is] in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. 3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. 4 The ungodly [are] not so: but [are] like the chaff which the wind driveth away. 5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. 6 For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

Psalm 1:1-6

Naaman’s Close Servants came to him telling him that if God would have told him to do some Great Thing you would have done it without question. You would have Ran To Complete It, not giving it another thought, but because God told you to do something that was Against Your Nature, Against Your Knowledge, Against Your Understanding YOU CHOOSE TO BE DISOBEDIENT!!! Naaman, who considered The Word From The Man Of God, decided to be Obedient, to Do What the Man Of God Said, to be Obedient To The Word and went to Jordan.

Now, for Naaman’s Walk. It was not good enough for him to just Go To Jordan, but now he must be Obedient To The Word. Naaman had to go In To a River that he considered Dirty, Nasty, Impure and Immerse Fully In It. It was not Naamans ideal thing to go and do. Naaman had to Go In To The Will Of God, Not just part of his Body, but it had to be All Of His Body. For Naaman to be Completely Obedient, to Completely Walk In Faith, he had to Dip Himself Seven Times, not Once, not Twice…not Five, but it had to be a Full Seven Times. To many of us want Instant Results and if we do not get it we move from Obedience to Disobedience or if we don’t get what we want we move from Obedience to Disobedience to Gratify Our Flesh. Now that Naaman was Obedient, now comes the Praise!

Naaman and His Full Company, went back to Elisha After The Word Was Fulfilled and Gave God Recognition and wanted to Bless Elisha as A Man Of God. Too many Receive From Jesus, but then Do Not Recognize Him as doing anything but take upon your selves that it is no big deal, when it is something Great. Naaman Recognized God that it was God Who Had Mercy On Him Because Of His Act Of Obedience!!!

Brothers and Sisters too many of you would rather Walk In The Flesh, being Comfortable, than to Walk In Obedience Being Uncomfortable In Bringing Glory To Jesus!!! There are many, many things that we must do or say that is Not Normal to the World, to those who are around us, to bring Glory To Jesus!!! It is in our flesh to take the Easy Way Out, to Look for a Better Plan then in the One way that Jesus Presents To Us. No one likes to be in Discomfort or Pain or to be Used we all desire to be in Comfort without Pain being Noticed for Our Actions, but that is not God’s Plan. Sometimes God takes us on a journey that we are completely blind and we must depend on Him, to Trust, to Have Faith that the Direction we are going in is From Obedience In Love To Jesus.

I Must Choose to be Obedient To The Word that is given, even if I Do Not Understand and Do Not See Where it is taking me. Faith, it is the Substance For Things We HOPE FOR, it Becomes Reality from Things UNSEEN. Jesus Knows every direction, every path that we will come across. Jesus Knows what will Bring Him Glory or that will Bring Glory To The Father. Jesus Knows What we have Need Of, Jesus Knows the End Results of everything We Come Across!!!

The Walls Of Jericho would not have fallen if Disobedience was Walked, nor would Naaman be Healed of Leprosy if he would have continued in Disobedience, nor would God have Received Praise in The Results Of Walking In Faith.

Your Walk…Your Faith…Your Results!

Amen and Amen!!!
