Faith Over Fear - Take Courage in Your Walk
"I sought the LORD, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears." - Psalm 34:4 NIV
Fear often makes us skeptical, holding us back from taking new paths that God may be leading us towards.
Fear can make us selfish, preventing us from fully committing to God and others. Most damagingly, it can make us short-sighted, causing us to focus on our past mistakes rather than on God’s promises for our future.
When we let fear rule, we limit ourselves, missing out on the great and adventurous plan God has for our lives. But when we choose faith—when we actively seek God—an incredible transformation happens. Our fears start to seem less daunting. We find the strength to face challenges and the courage to seize new opportunities.
Faith does not mean absence of fear; but it enables us to take bold steps despite our fears, helps decide to trust God's guidance over our own doubts. When we walk in faith, we see that God has better plans for us than our fears allow us to see.
So, what's holding you back today? What fears are preventing you from experiencing the full life God offers? Now is the time to seek the Lord, just as the Psalmist did, and watch as those fears lose their hold over you.
