Faith – the missing piece in leadership and your results

Faith – the missing piece in leadership and your results

?

“Faith is the ability to see the invisible and believe in the incredible and that is what enables believers to receive what the masses think is impossible”

But most managers believe the exact opposite. I'll believe it when I see it. And then the cat bites its tail.

?

  • 80% of managers say that they are very good at developing strategies, but only 44% are confident in their implementation
  • Only 2% of managers believe they will achieve 80% to 100% of their strategic goals
  • According to a study, companies that successfully develop and implement their strategies can increase their profitability by an average of 77%

?

As children we believe in the impossible and even in Santa Claus. As an adult, only what we see.?

How do you want to achieve your goals, if you don't even believe in your goal as a leader?? How do you want to motivate your team and your employees, if you don't even believe in yourself and your employees?? Especially in projects or sales targets, it quickly becomes clear who believes in the new goal. Who believes in increasing sales, who believes in increasing productivity, who believes in reducing delivery time. But after 30 seconds the first argument comes why it's not possible.

  • The first thoughts “how is this supposed to work?”
  • The first belief is “we can’t do that” or “that’s impossible.”
  • Or that one sentence “What if... happens?”?

And all of these statements shows the belief of leaders and employees.

?

?It is not difficult to believe, but not to believe is impossible

?

Why do managers and employees always have these doubts? Why do people always have this attitude of questioning something before they even take the first step to see where they can going, when they finally go and see what's possible? It is their unconscious belief patterns that control their emotions and thoughts.

Your belief patterns about:

Work

Business

Money

Success

Career

Health

Relationship

Ages

Gender

Religion and so on

??

Your thoughts with your doubts, fears and worries. Thoughts that immediately activate the survival mode, because you have not yet experienced your goal, because it is not imaginable for you in your head and because your head first ask “how” without feeling the “why” on a subconscious level. I keep hearing in my seminars or coaching sessions “If I have x then I’ll do y”, because there is a lack of belief and trust in themself. Robert Bosch said “I don’t pay good wages when I have a lot of money, but I have a lot of money because I pay good wages.”?

Believing does not mean doubting.

The enemy of faith is fear, doubt and worry which creates anxiety in your body. And both fear and faith demand that we believe in something that we cannot see. You must bring your faith to the subconscious emotional mind, because it is the belief on the deep subconscious level that controls your behavior. In order to achieve your goal, you first need to belief in your goal in order to get to where you want to go and not the other way around.

??

You never go beyond what you believe, if you don't believe where you can go.

?

A few weeks ago, I was able to learn something from a 10-year-old boy. I was in the outdoor pool with my godchildren and we wanted to jump from the 5-meter tower. Of course, I also overcame myself and climbed the ladder with wobbly knees, even though I had jumped from the 5-meter tower several times. I was close to the edge and then I felt it again - the fear, but I jumped.

?

And the same thing happened to a 10-year-old boy. I stood below and watched him. He really wanted to jump, but he wasn't ready. He say out loud to himself: “I'm scared” and he looked down at other people and me. I told him to focus on "that the jump makes a lot of fun." He changed his focus and took another attempt, but he couldn't make it yet. He exhaled deeply and said out loud to himself: “It’s fun to jump.” Suddenly he changed his posture and prepared to jump. He opened his eyes and quickly jumped into the water. He emerged from the water with a big smile and said to me “Thank you, that was my first jump from the 5-meter tower today.” Full of pride and joy, he said to me: “I’ll jump again.”

?

I believe that an ordinary person can choose to be extraordinary. - Elon Musk.

?

What can you learn from this boy as a leader. No matter whether you are standing on the 5-meter tower, on the assembly line in the factory hall or in the office as a manager or CEO. Your emotions control your behavior and actions and as long as you feel uncertain or afraid your body will not be ready to jump and block your goals.?

The little boy believed in himself, he jumped and pushed his limits beyond his possibilities and just like this little boy, you as a leader can increase your belief in yourself and your team, if you understand which 3 levers you can use and how your subconscious mind works.

?

Faith and fear believe in something you cannot see. But you choose.

?

?How often do we not do things just because fear controls us? How often do our thoughts steer us in the wrong direction, because we have a different opinion or a belief, but these expectations rarely come true. In the last 10 years I have worked with numerous leaders in over 7 countries and there was always something missing in leadership behavior - belief in themself and in their goals.

?

It is the belief that influences your leadership behavior and your goals and the reason why so many companies struggle with implementation. Since I understood how “people tick” and “results work”, I have been able to help leaders and employees not only believe in things, but also achieve their goals with ease. The GAP between your current state and your target state shows your potential on a subconscious level.?

Believe it or don’t believe it – your subconscious mind is your supplier of your results.

?

Fear controls the world, fear controls in companies and fear controls people and your results. People feel more and more insecure in an uncertain world. And above all, employees demand leadership, certainty and trust in their leaders, especially in turbulent times. Leaderships means leading emotion that employees believe in themselves, implement things and to increase their profitability. According to a study, unmotivated leaders and employees cost German companies 124 billion euros. It's not a lack of motivation, but rather a lack of positive emotions.

?

PS. You think your faith is already strong enough and you already know and can do all of this? This is also a belief pattern and blocks your growth and that of your employees. You don't know what you don't know if you don't know what you don't know. ;-)?
