The recipe for taking religious superstitions seriously looks something like this >>high level of gullibility high level of superstition > low-level of critical thinking. This 3-tiered combination leads directly to people taking magical nonsense seriously. Taking seriously the core belief that “Magic is real”and from that core belief springs many other beliefs about God, Jesus, Allah and miracles that have magical nonsense woven into those beliefs, too.
When people take superstition seriously enough such that superstitions are not challenged by an application of critical thinking skills that superstition takes up residence in their mind, paving the way for religious beliefs to invade the mind, too. Those who take magic seriously as theists do generally engage in magical thinking in their daily lives. Regarding magic as an actual thing to fear or appeal to.
Taking magic so seriously that they alter their behavior to be more appealing to some imagined magical phantom according to rumors & gossip they take seriously. But when superstition is challenged by a higher level of critical thinking when the question is asked, “Is magic real?” the rational mind answers with >> “No, silly, of course magic isn’t real. Don’t be a gullible fool.” The rational mind then rejects superstition & religion for the magical thinking that it is.
With an understanding that employing magical thinking in a world where magic isn't even realis just childish & gullible and should be avoided whenever possible. But since there’s a proliferation of superstition among the average-person populace, there are more superstitious minds among us than there are rational minds. So we find ourselves regrettablyin a world where religious superstition is common. And rationality is less common. The kooks outnumber the rest of us.
At the end of the day there are only two reasons to believe: indoctrination or desperation. If you reduce either one of them, the number of religious will decrease. That’s exactly what we have been doing the last few decades by improving education and living standards and by reducing social pressure to believe. More and more people are educated enough to understand that there is no rational reason to believe in God, simply because believers, not for lack of trying, are completely and utterly unable to provide any objective evidence for their religious claims to be true.

At the same time liberalization of society leads to more and more people being okay with other people not believing the same things they do. Consequently fewer people feel the pressure to believe in the mainstream god. What is faith? Faith is faith - a full assurance in the heart. We need confidence, we need trust, we need hope, we need belief. All these are emotions that work together along with faith to make us understand the reality of life. We can question and doubt - where did this world come from, where is God, there is no God, I cannot see God. No, we have to have faith.
If we don't have faith, we ask for proof. Where proof is possible, there faith is impossible. So, we have to make a choice and accept that somebody created this universe, somebody governs this universe, somebody controls everything that's happening on earth through universal laws. Who is that? That is a power. We have to have faith in that power. It does not matter which religion we belong to but we must have faith in the power of the Creator.
Faith is a psychological perception of mind. When we want to build faith for someone special. First we need to spend some time with each other. Because it is not a thing that it can build in seconds. It needs some time. Let us understand how people starting faith in you. and what happens in the mind level. For example when I met a friend in college for first time. I like him because he is similar to me. but my feeling of similarity doesn't decide how actually he is. So I started spend some time with him and understanding his nature and thought.
His personality and thought resembled with me so I like him more. We used to share some personal information with each other. So we emotionally connected with each other. He was honest to me. Once he took risk for me knowing that he could be in loss but he took risk for me. I was not good in studies so he helped me more often. So as time passes a feeling of faith developed in our mind.
The following are the key points to remember if want to built faith for someone special. Try to be honest to that person because honestly is the very first factor of faith .perhaps people think that you can't cheat with them when they believe in you. When we speak truth it build strong relationships and trust. Because it target people mind that this person when say something that means that is true. Be a gentle man and behave as per the situation. Respect women and children. respect women doesn't mean that they are doing wrong in any way and you are supporting them. Be a responsible towards family, society, Country. Passionate towards dreams, Goals. Doing the things in such a way as you say. Cheers!
