Faith or Fear?

They were pulverized with FEAR!

They were facing REAL KILLERS! If they stayed and fought, they KNEW they'd surely die! Watch this.

Fearful himself, Gideon whispered, errbody scared is excused from this BATTLE! Like, you can go home to your wife and kids! No harm. No foul.

When Gideon turned around to see who was about this FIGHT LIFE, he was floored. 20,000 Plus of his 'bad boys' had vanished!

He was left with 10,000 Holy Warriors - who had to be pissed, they hadn't left earlier when Gideon gave them an out!

Like Oil and Water! Faith and Fear Don't mix!

God pared-down Gideon's army from 10,000 to 300 by seeing who stood up upright when they drank their water. ??????

Boy, it's something about standing upright when you're facing a storm.

I digress. That's a sermon until itself.

Armed with a little whistle and 300 candles, God whispered to Gideon. You got this! ??????

So this is the crazy part of the story, I never really PAID close attention to until today!

God told Gideon, I want you to go behind enemy lines, and see that victory is YOURS.

Check this out, He continued by saying if you're fearful take one security guard with you. He too will be ARMED with a candle.

Think about it . . . What was one candle Warrior really going to do against 132,000 bloodthirsty boldface killers?

Nevertheless, Fearful Gideon brought candle guy with him into the lion's den. The belly of the beast. You get my point.

The moment Gideon and candle guy ( I can see dude constantly blowing out his light so they wouldn't be noticed and God constantly relighting the fuse guiding their PATH)

The moment! The moment, Gideon's big toe slips behind enemy lines, he hears the wildest story. He hears one killer almost crying in the arms of another stoned faced killer, sharing a frightening story about how, one stinking loaf of bread, rolls down a hill and kills a tent .

The Warrior listening to the dream immediately becomes PETRIFIED! He shouted, your dream reveals that Gideon and His God will destroy our entire 132,000 man ARMY!

Like for real, for real!

What are the chances, of all the places and all the people in the world, Gideon would be close enough to the killers to witness their fear?

The killer's fear was so vivid and so real that it spread like wildfire in the Bronx!

Every soldier, every killer, was frightened to death! So much so, when Gideon's army of 300 began waving their candles and blowing their little whistles, the soldiers in a panic began killing their neighbors! #FEAR

The take away is powerful DON'T miss this!

1.) Sometimes your haters are so angry and fearful of you because God has ALREADY shown them your promotion. Your elevated bonus. Your new house. Watch this... The reason you haven't received your blessings yet is because YOU'RE running around blind and #Fearful! Oh, ye of little Faith.

2.) Oil and Water Don't mix. Kinda like Fear and Faith! Sometimes the whole armor of God He wants you to put on is FAITH! God wants to rock with you. God wants ... no no scratch that God has already slain the Giants in our life but we keep missing the blessing.

Like, like, you're praying for a 700 credit score and God is tapping you on the shoulder saying bruh... oh ye of little faith. I got your new house right here.

Faith is all that is required to pre-qualify you!

3. Finally, finally, like a good friend of mine told me this week. If you can figure things out on your own. If you can see directly in front of you, that ain't faith.

So this week when you're in the midst of chaos, confusion and you can't see yourself defeating the financial aid officer to clear your kid for college, or you can't shake that cancer diagnosis, wave a tiny candle, and watch God fight your battles for you.

All you need is a little Faith!
