Fair Trade: Ten Thousand Villages Winter Park
Using my powers for good. A few of my goals for this year were to give back and to get more involved in my community. I was recently asked to join the board of directors of the nonprofit, Ten Thousand Villages Winter Park.
I became a board member and was asked to serve as Vice President for the 2024 year. I am excited about helping with strategic planning for the future and helping the organization continue to grow in our community.
If you are not familiar with Ten Thousand Villages, this is their mission:
We create opportunities for artisans in developing countries to earn income by bringing their products and stories to our markets through long-term, fair trading relationships.
