People invest a lot of time and money trying to lose weight. In the United States it is a 90-billion-dollar industry headed to around 140 billion by 2030. There are a variety of choices, from quick fix gimmicks to sophisticated programs designed to have you invest time and resources to achieve a targeted weight.
In theory, barring a unique medical condition, we can lose weight without any outside help. By focusing on a balanced diet, meal planning, healthy snacking, portion control, sleep, hydration, and regular exercise a person can maintain their weight at healthy levels. Yet, millions each year invest their time and money to seeking help from someone else. The results are mixed.
It’s the same when it comes to time management. There are readily available tools to help organize and use our time effectively. However, like weight loss, the results are mixed.

1 个月To lose weight, you must suffer. Eat less food = suffering Eat food you don't like = suffering Exercise = suffering. People don't like to suffer, hence losing weight is difficult for them. This article doesn't address this important fact.
