The passage, ‘You spoke in a vision’ (Psalm 89:19 NIV), reminds us that, great visions always precede great achievement, they draw on our history, meet other people’s needs and attract resources and, it comes from God who is the giver of great visions and knows what we are capable of, and what He has gifted us to do and, if we ask Him for one, He will sustain and strengthen us. In other words, failure to look beyond ourselves and lifetimes as we seek our vision could lead us to miss out on our God-given potential and His best for us. So let the knowledge that: 1) God-given visions are not some mystical quality that come out of vacuums rather, they grow out of our past experiences and the history of the people around us; 2) They go far beyond that which one individual can accomplish and includes and blesses others; and 3) They give birth to goals, spark and fuel fires within, and help move us forward despite the odds and obstacles in our paths; teach you, if indeed your vision does not do that, that it is probably way too small!FG. www.fgtalks.com
