Failure to do this sucks the lifeblood out of your business

The most successful entrepreneurs in the world know that the biggest expense that they have in their business is the money that they are supposedly making but they’re not.

This can be 6 or 7 figures… Or probably billions!

Now if you’re a business owner, no matter how much your business is making, there is always more money to be made.

For this to happen, your sales should keep on coming. 

Sales should be predictable.

The “simplest” way to gauge if your business will be around 5 to 10 years from now is to make sure that you know where sales will be coming from 1 to 2 months from now.

Week after week, month after month, if you know where your sales will be coming from 1 to 2 months in advance then you will be able to sleep better.

If you’re able to do it for a consistent number of years, then you know that you’ll have a running business a decade from now.

Now that’s easier said than done.

The reality is that most people find it hard to know where their next closed deal will be coming from.

How many times have you sat around waiting for your next referral or prayed that somebody will somehow find your website?

How many hours have you spent manually reaching out to prospects by sending hundreds and hundreds of messages?

I hope that by now you know that you can’t just rely on referrals. 

And also you cannot just wait for people to come to you. You need to be proactive in your approach on how to have consistent quality leads for you to convert.

You need to accept the fact that if your business is not growing, then it is dying.

And the first thing to look at if it’s growing is to check if your database of quality and qualified leads is growing.

Without leads, sales start to dry up; finances become tighter and tighter; tough decisions have to be made; you’ll start working longer hours to keep everything afloat, you’ll be worried about your business. This will take its toll in your health and probably the future of your family.

I remember the feeling of looking at my appointment calendar and seeing it full of empty time slots and having no idea when or how I am going to get my next client.

If I was lucky, I would get referrals. But that was unreliable.

I even looked forward to networking events and on other times I would also fly out of the country hoping that my next big clients will be found in a particular event.

There are nights that I’d still be wide awake at 2’o clock in the morning wondering how I could pay my employees’ payroll and the other expenses of the business. It’s either this or I find myself working 60 to 70 hours a week just to stay afloat.

My focus is consistently shifting from sales and operations depending on the client flow at the moment.

I faced every day asking myself…

Will I be able to even be at break even this month?

What if I lose all my emergency expense to sustain the business?

How will I be able to sustain this?

Every single day my life was filled with the uncertainty around my business.

I knew that each day that I’m uncertain, the danger of closing out my business is slowly becoming a reality.

I was forced to look myself deep in the mirror, and develop a system to make my income predictable.

A system that will make me know where next month’s sales will be coming from.

A system that will make sure that I have consistent quality leads that will bring me appointments and inquiries on a consistent basis.


The biggest mistake that an entrepreneur can make in his business is not having a system that will do this for him.

Consistent qualified leads are the lifeblood of a business. 

No qualified leads = No business.


When I finally got this dealt with, everything started to flow freely.

My team and I have our calendars full of opportunities. I go into a sales meeting knowing that my prospect is a perfect fit for my business and genuinely needs my help.

And I’m able to do this with an automated process that gives me the freedom to focus on the things that will require my expertise and will make direct money to the business.

You may or may not relate to the things I mentioned here but all I know is this:

When you achieve this, you can close your computer at the end of the day and relax because you know exactly where next month’s clients will come from. Referrals become a nice bonus - on top of the already steady stream of leads you are getting, instead of your sole source of revenue. You can begin or see real growth in your business.

Look, anybody can drive leads to their business but where a lot of people drop the ball is the long-term relationship-building process because they lack a system for following up and nurturing leads that don’t buy right away.

It’s easier to just focus on the “quick wins” of getting the 3-4 % of clients who are ready to work with you right away - at the expense of better clients who would be ready 3-6 months from now if you stayed in touch.

You won’t be seen as pushy or ‘salesy’ like the strategies most people use today. They will actually be excited that you are part of their network and may even give out referrals to you because with our system, you will be able to establish your expertise.
