“By Failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail.” — Benjamin Franklin

Can you believe it's already spring? I know they say that time flies when you're having fun, but honestly? I feel like time truly flies when we're challenging ourselves. When we're immersed in creating, growing, and empowering each other. When we're pushing the envelope. So as we welcome this season of renewal, I find myself thinking a lot about how I'm gearing up for the exciting and busy season ahead.

And - for a change - in the spirit of preparation and growth, I'm taking a brief "pause" this Spring break to recalibrate and ensure that my focus is laser-sharp for the upcoming months. It's a time to reflect, plan, and prepare for the impactful journey we're about to embark on together.

Big News: "From Pain to Playlist" Sneak Peek! I'm thrilled to share that my fourth book, "From Pain to Playlist," is nearing the final stages of editing. This book is an autobiographical [but also interactive!] testament to the transformative power of music and self-expression, and I can't wait to share it with you.

Which is where you come in, Emma: I'm inviting five people to dive into the first three chapters before anyone else. Not only will you get a sneak peek, but you'll also receive a free copy of the book upon its release. If you're interested, simply reply to this email with "Pain to Playlist" in the subject line.

Studio Time: New Album on the Horizon

If you've been following me for at least a month, you know me pretty well by now: I never stop at one lofty goal. In addition to taking a "break" and planning for the summer and winter months, I'm going to retreat into the studio to record my next album. If you recall, in late December/early January, I set myself another write-a-song-a-day challenge, and - yet again - was surprised at what came out of me. So I'll be hitting the studio with a collection of songs that hit close to my heart, and I believe it will resonate with many of you.

With this focus, I've cleared my performance schedule this week to dedicate my energy entirely to the recording process. I'm pouring everything into this album, ensuring it's a source of inspiration and joy for all who listen.

As we move forward, I'm reminded of the importance of our voices. Each one of us has a unique story, perspective, and voice that deserves to be heard. Through music, writing, and all forms of expression, we can share our truths, connect with others, and make a meaningful impact. Remember, your voice matters, and it's more powerful than you might think.

Here's a sneak peek of one of the songs I'm planning on recording this week!

So... What's Your Plan? As we embrace the energy of spring and the promise of new beginnings, I encourage you to think about your plans for the next 3-6 months. Life is a beautiful, dynamic journey, and we have the power to shape our paths. Whether it's a personal goal, a creative project, or a new adventure, what steps are you taking to bring your visions to life? I'd love to hear about your plans and dreams. After all, we're in this together, and supporting each other is what makes this community so special. Let's spring into action, embrace our voices, and make the coming months truly unforgettable. Your story, your voice, and your dreams matter. Let's make them heard.

Have an amazing day on purpose, friends,

Emma G

P.S. Don't forget to reply with "Pain to Playlist" for a chance to be one of the first to explore my new book. Let's turn our pain into beautiful playlists that echo our journeys and resilience.
