Teach Access
Teach Access addresses the digital accessibility skills gap by equipping learners to build toward an inclusive world.
Teach Access, a national nonprofit dedicated to equipping students with skills to create technology born digitally accessible, is still accepting registrations for its?2023?Virtual Study Away?and?Faculty Grants?programs.
Virtual Study Away
The?Teach Access Study Away Program?brings together students, faculty, and industry partners to explore the field of accessibility. Students will participate in a two-part series where they will learn accessibility fundamentals and get hands-on experience with leaders in the corporate, academic, and nonprofit sectors. Students can also expect networking opportunities leading to possible internship and employment opportunities. Any undergraduate and graduate student can apply.
Part one begins April 5 and is a prerequisite to part two, which begins in June. All sessions will occur virtually on Wednesdays via Zoom from 7:00-8:30 pm Eastern Time (4:00 pm-5:30 pm Pacific Time). Accepted students will receive enrollment confirmation and a Zoom link on Friday, March 31st.?If a student attended Study Away in previous years, they will be eligible to attend part two.
