- Watching HGTV does not make you an expert in real estate just like watching the voice does not make you a good singer
- House buying shows on tv are entertainment... not factual. Most of those shows are strictly scripted and show homes that are often not on the market or already sold.
- Your friend at work might not be the best person to go to when you need advice on financing a new home.
- You should call a professional when it comes down to the single biggest financial investment of your life. A good lender, Realtor or other professional can save you money and often save you from making a mistake.
