India is the second-largest populated country and with such an increase in population and advancement in technology, the population of vehicles is also increasing rapidly. Let’s get on to some fun facts on our automobile industry:

1. The first Indian to own a car was none other than our Jamshedji Tata in the year1898.

2. The first car to be manufactured in India was the Hindustan Ambassador in collaboration with Morris Motors back in 1957.

3. Eight out of ten two-wheelers sold in India are either sold by Hero, Honda or Bajaj.

4. The amount of cars sold by Fiat in a whole year is just sold in three days by Maruti Suzuki as they sell about 2 cars every minute.
