We are proud to announce that Elpro Kri?ni?, Plastika Skaza, and SILIKO d.o.o. have made it to the finals of this year’s Factory of the Year 2024 competition. Anton Pape?, the president of the expert panel, highlighted that the decision was exceptionally difficult, as there can only be one winner. Heartfelt congratulations to Siliko, which has joined the ranks of Slovenian economic leaders, including Krka, Ljubljanske mlekarne, BSH Hi?ni aparati Nazarje, ETI, Novartis, and ROTO Group – factories of the year from 2018 to 2023.

Although we were hopeful for victory, we are honored to have reached the finals among more than 76,000 businesses and numerous esteemed sole proprietors who together contribute to the success of our economy.

Our representatives, Niko Medved, Andreja Fortag, and Dr. Urban Fegu?, presented the company with such confidence and passion that we were deeply moved by their belief in our mission and values.

This lengthy process for the award has once again proven the strength of our team. Thanks go to the entire management team, which recognized the added value of the award. Above all, we felt a deep gratitude towards all our employees during the process of these two awards, as they are the ones with whom we can compete for such prestigious honors and proudly represent our company. Last but not least, our biggest thanks go to our owners, Tanja Skaza and Igor Skaza aza, who support us and enable our growth and progress.

Dreams are allowed every day; our faith in our mission inspires us with the courage to pursue our sustainability path, increase the share of recycled materials in our products, and believe that this is the only way to preserve our one and only planet, where we can realize our dreams. This forward-looking view fills us with optimism, for as Niko Medved, our deputy Director, said: "The best is yet to come."

Open to New Talents

At Skaza, we are open to the best talents, especially for technical sales twins (BDM and TBDM), who are crucial for implementing our sales strategy. We are actively seeking new collaborators for our production team due to an increased volume of orders and innovative development. We also invite scholarship holders, students, and high school pupils who wish to undertake internships or summer jobs, as we actively support the development of young talents.
