The occasional headaches most of us get typically have a clear reason, such as a hangover from a night out with friends or a sinus headache due to allergies. When headaches become a recurrent theme it hinders functioning, particularly for working professionals. There are patterns and factors to consider in recurrent cases since they pertain to management.

  • One side (cluster) or both sides (tension)
  • Preferring dark room (migraines)vs. not sensitive to light

  • Constant pressure like a band around the head (tension)
  • Light sensitive, nausea, aura (migraine)
