How has Lear's merit-based program, Together We Grow, benefitted you the most as a woman in the automotive industry?

I feel that the Together We Grow program has benefitted me the most by connecting me to other diverse women leaders that I would not otherwise meet in my current position. These women leaders have provided me direct insight into their career journey as well as guidance on ways to navigate challenges both professionally and personally. ?

What do you love most about working at Lear?

The opportunity to improve my skills, provide a respectful work environment and most of all collaborate with talented people are some key reasons why I love working at Lear.?I have been provided with numerous resources for professional development through education, community outreach and mentorship.?Leaders at Lear regardless of their position are true allies that continuously support and encourage us to meet our goals.?

Who is a female role model you’ve looked up to and why??

A female role model I have looked up to is Surekha, the mother of my childhood friend. She has been one of the key individuals that has pushed me out of my comfort zone and believed in my capabilities when I only had doubts.?She has been a constant cheerleader, mentor, and key to my success today. I am grateful for her constant reminder to believe in myself and strive to be an independent woman. As a first-generation college student and South Asian woman, I want to continue to empower others who may feel resistant to take the initiative to further their education or retain leadership positions.??
