Welcome to the first installment of our Faces of PharmaLogic series! We're highlighting our team of world-class experts and recognizing the incredible folks that make our organization great.
First up on the interview docket is Taylor Vernon , PharmaLogic's Vice President of Manufacturing Operations.
Do you mind sharing a bit about your background?
I grew up in West Virginia and graduated from Wheeling Jesuit University with a degree in Physics. I started in PET Manufacturing in 2005 and was fortunate to join PharmaLogic in 2019. I currently live in Maryland with my wife, 6-year-old daughter, and 2-year-old son.
What inspired you to explore a career in our industry?
From a young age I knew I wanted a career in science. It’s always been a passion of mine and I was lucky to get involved in nuclear manufacturing early in my career. I love working in this industry – manufacturing and evolving products that positively impact peoples’ lives is extremely satisfying.?
What do you enjoy most about working for PharmaLogic?
I love PharmaLogic’s commitment to innovation and expansion. It’s exciting to be part of an organization that is at the forefront of the industry. I also really enjoy growing our manufacturing team and working alongside such a dedicated and diverse group of team members.?
Now something personal – if you could travel anywhere for a vacation, where would you go?
I’ve always wanted to travel to Hawaii. My wife and I would love to take a family trip there in the near future.
