The faces of change.
Have you ever stopped to think just how many changes a person can go through in a lifetime? To put this in perspective, we can start with a smaller numbers that make up that lifetime, one year at a time.
We have 8760 hours in a year which is 525,600.00 minutes in that year. Each year we start off on an even playing field. The numbers are the same whether you are a multi-millionaire, or an unemployed individual. We have the same amount of time to create success, or for that matter failure.
What does it take to deal with life and the changes it brings you. The thought varies depending what philosophy you adhere to.
Sartre, writes; "Each of us, is free, and we are the ones that determine our fate"
How we look at the events throughout our days, will determine how happy we are. It is not just a matter of keeping your eyes on the goals. No one can make your dreams come true if you are not willing to fight for them. I say fight, because there are always people in the vicinity of your dreams, that like to get involved, and emit their opinion on any thought you may have. The key, is to remain steadfast in the goals you have set. Oh, yes you must have a starting point, create your goal sheet.
The minute we are born, we become the metamorphosis of the butterfly through ancient times. It runs like clockwork, and those things that come along with aging are inevitable. The key is to remain calm in the midst of change. and of course, there are plenty of friends, and families that are screaming off the top of their lungs for you to do this, or don't do this. Not everyone feels comfortable in the face of change.
Aristotle, another great philosopher wrote; "We are what we repeatedly do, Excellence, then, is not an act, but it is a habit."
There is nothing in this world that we can't learn, and do it well, all it takes is perseverance and the will to succeed. Although, I know that there are many people out there that don't have the capacity to understand the enormity of these words, and mainly it is because change is not comfortable from its first appearance into our lives. It is that which takes complacency and shakes it up.
Dealing with change is a very personal choice. One can look at change in the face, and walk away thinking, I dont want to deal with this today, maybe tomorrow, or after. I say that the time is now. Once the thought has materialized in your mind's eye it is done through divine intervention. This to me, means that there is no better time then the present moment.
Thoughts on spinning change!
Change is good for you! It is the catalyst of creation. Each thought is sent as a conscious observation of an area you may, or may not succeed in, if you address it.
Don't try to be radical in your changes, it needs to be done in moderation. Think each step along the way to success. The joy will come once you realize that it wasn't hard to adapt to the change. Actually it will be exciting once you look back and realize that you are better for the experience.
