Facebook always considering the changes on its platform which eventually helps in improving user experience. In past years, we have seen some major changes happened on user's profile and brand pages. After acquiring Instagram and WhatsApp, Facebook is keep on improvising their capability to gain more exposure and stand out in the global market. For e.g. To compete with Snapchat, Facebook has launched Instagram stories and WhatsApp stories. While WhatsApp stories failed miserably, Instagram stories were really successful.
Recently, when I was browsing my Facebook profile, I have seen the small drop-down button next to my profile name. When I clicked, I could see two options 1. Switch Accounts 2. Create new Facebook account. Does it sound familiar? For me Yes, we all have seen this feature in Google accounts where we can switch between multiple accounts and can use number of accounts without logging out. Facebook has updated the same feature in Instagram in the last year if I’m right, where you can switch between 5 accounts from single app. This feature actually helps people to manage multiple accounts from single place. Most importantly a Digital Marketer like me find it more helpful. As we are managing accounts for multiple clients it would be very hectic to sign in/sign out again and again. I believe this feature will surely improve the user experience and helpful for marketers to manage multiple accounts and post in different groups.
Currently when you click on switch accounts it shows that you have to logout from this account. Hopefully, in the near future Facebook will allow users to add multiple accounts. Let’s see when Facebook officially make this feature live.
