·??For the first time in history, FB reported a decline in active users Last Quarter, but the biggest question is the “Increasing Lack of Relevance with Young People”. This was the main reason for no user growth across Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp essentially flat last quarter, but also the main Facebook app lost 1 million daily users.

·??Also, Higher ARPU ( Average Revenue Per User ) ?as #TIKTOK is eating a major of ?market share ( Considering it is banned in few countries )

#Facebook had a global average revenue per user (ARPU) of $9.54, in Q1 2022, In Q4 2021, Facebook’s ARPU was $11.57& ARPU from the US and Canada was relatively higher as compared to other geographic segments

In the first quarter of 2022, the worldwide average revenue per user (ARPU) of? #Facebook?was $9.54, a decrease of 18% from the ARPU of $11.57, in the fourth quarter of 2021. · Facebook’s Lost Generation:

Earlier this year, a researcher at Facebook shared some alarming statistics with colleagues.

Teenager’s users of the Facebook app in the US had declined by 13 percent since 2019 and were projected to drop 45 percent over the next two years, driving an overall decline in daily users in the company’s most lucrative ad market. Young adults between the ages of 20 and 30 were expected to decline by 4 percent during the same timeframe. Making matters worse, the younger a user was, the less on average they regularly engaged with the app. The message was clear: Facebook was losing traction with younger generations fast.?

The “aging up issue is“ Facebook sees it as a direct threat to its business.

?As Instagram remains incredibly popular with teens, Facebook’s own data shows that they are starting to engage with the app less.?

Estimated that teens spend 2–3x more time on TikTok than on Instagram and that Snapchat is the preferred method of communicating with best friends for young people.
