We are all aware that Facebook keeps updating its algorithms, layouts, image sizes, content type and much more to provide best for its users. Recently in the month of January 2018, Facebook changed its algorithm and we can see a huge hammer blow on the organic reach. This time its a change in ads manager. The "Power Editor" has been removed and the options have merged into the Ads Manager. Let's take a look at how to work new Ads Manager if you were working on Power Editor and vice versa.
First, when you land inside Ads Manager, this is how it looks NOW. It exactly looks like how "Power Editor" Was. Look at the image below.
Now, to create a campaign click on the create button (Green button to the top left in the above image). When you click on it, pop-ups a new window for "QUICK CREATION" (it's new for ads manager users and power editor users know it better). Look at this image below.
For Power Editor users, it is pretty common and they are comfortable creating campaigns with Quick Creation. But if you are an "Ads Manager" user, then it's is very easy to switch it to your comfort. Just click on the "Switch to Guided Creation" button. You can see that on the Top Right of the above image, marked with red circle. You will land on to the guided creation. Which exactly guides you to create a campaign just like you did in ads manager earlier. Take a look at the below image to see the "Guided Creation" window.
Again, if you want to switch to "Quick Creation" as it is there now by default (Earlier it was only for campaign creation in Power Editor), click on the button "Switch to Quick Creation" on the Top Right of the above image, marked with red circle.
That's the major change made by Facebook by today morning. Rest everything is almost same in Ads Manager and Power Editor. Hope newcomers will not have any issues like we had. What was the difference between "Ads Manager" and "Power Editor"?
Hope my article helps. At least a little.
