Want to try Facebook Ads for your online store, selling real estate or automotives?
My tip: use Dynamic Facebook Creative Ads ??
It is another effective way to market (and remarket!) using Facebook. It used to be a burden for marketers to create ads for each and every item they sell. Not only that, but you also had to manually run every combination of ad elements to see what worked best. Time and resources spent were costly and you’d have to wait for the results of each ad in order to identify what was the best performing. With so many variations you could be testing, it was difficult to know quickly and easily what works best.
Sounds tedious, right?
As one of the most used social media marketing platforms, Facebook decided to solve those issues through Dynamic Facebook Creative Ads.
So what are the PROs of using this feature?
?? Ads are automatically triggered
?? The ad content (i.e. your offer) is dynamically adjusted based on who the ad is displayed to
??You can conveniently create a catalogue of all your products or services.
?? It retargets to people who've shown interest in one of your past ads but didn't make a purchase, reminding them to buy
?? It uses broad audience targeting for targeting people who are interested in products or services like yours even if they haven't been to your website (yes, Facebook listens and watches everything you do!)
?? It is optimized to reach your audience across multiple devices.. regardless of whether or not the person used Instagram on their phone and then later jumped on Facebook via desktop
?? It is easier to create and configure the ads
?? It saves you time and it is better value for your money
So what do you need to get started with Dynamic Ads?
Before you begin you will need the following:
- A Facebook Pixel code installed
- Business Manager set up with a Facebook Business Page
- A Product Catalogue - this is what most people get rather stuck on when they first get started!
A product catalogue contains a file (or multiple) with a list of all the products you want to sell, offer and promote. This file is called "product feed" as it feeds the product catalogue with (updated) information on all the different products.
The supported files that you can use when uploading are CSV, TSV, RSS XML, or ATOM XML. Changes that you make in the product feed will automatically reflect on your catalogue and subsequently, your ads.
When setting filters in your product feed you then get a subset of the product catalogue that’s called a product set.
My verdict? It's worth the try!
If you haven't used it before and have trouble setting up any of the above, reach out! My team and I would love to assist you with promoting your product and services on Facebook.
