Today I would like to introduce you to the Facebook Beacon. The device is placed physically in your store and can be used to send messages to people that are nearby. It is important to know that the device works with Bluetooth technology, so the users must have it activated on their phone.
You can incorporate the beacons into your marketing plan in several different ways, but allow me to give you an example. Let’s say you have a pet store. As a customer enters your store, they receive a welcome message that includes showing products that friends have purchased in the same store a month ago.
