Facebook Ads Are DEAD…

In all seriousness, Facebook ads are not dead and will be around for a while.
Sure, after last years Cambridge Analytica data scandal, there was definitely a breach of trust, but people are on Facebook more than ever.
Facebook ads are an awesome way to bring new audiences of potential customers to your business, however, with ad costs rising, there are some things you should know about to increase your reach and ROI while lowering the costs of your Facebook ads in 2019.
So why should you use Facebook ads?
Posts from someone’s personal profile or a group are more likely to end up in your feed, organically since Facebook is a place where people to catch up on their friends and family or interests.
Getting likes or followers on your Facebook Business page is basically irrelevant since your page post will only reach 1-2% of your followers organically unless you pay to play.
The benefit of Facebook Ads is that it’s less expensive than TV commercials or billboards since you can test out different campaigns, audiences and ad creatives for as little as $5/day.
To be straight, you’re not going to turn $5 into a million with one ad just to set expectations.
What you can do though is test out some different ads for $5 to see which one pulls the best and then increase the ad spend gradually.
This will be helpful so you can learn where to allocate your ad budget to ensure you get a profitable return on ad spend.
Ok, so you’re convinced about Facebook ads are still a great way to reach your audience but what some other best practices?
Showing positive things in your ads that produce positive emotions is a big thing to consider.
Think about it, some of the most shared things on Facebook are pictures of kittens and babies because they’re sooooo cuuuuuute.
Facebook does not want negative ads or it’s users to feel bad since it’s a family-friendly platform.
Your ads should be inspirational, funny, relatable and have copy that talks about how you can solve someone’s problem.
You could also show a customer testimonial that shows how happy a client was after they purchased your product or service.
When you follow these best practices, people will relate more to your business, share, like and comment more, and Facebook will reward you for it.
With that said, what are your thoughts on Facebook ads in 2019?
Lemme know what you think. :-)

5 年Good ideas here! ?I wonder if a customer testimonial via video would be more effective than a photo with copy?
