I said, YES absolutely ! without any delay you should effectively communicate the situation with every concerned till the last person in the team, rather in a Special Purpose Town Hall.

Why ?

1. A #Leader should always be #Truthful or it can ruin his #Credibility.

2. People may hate the bad news for a moment, but they #hate a #cheater even more who kept them in #dark by hiding truth, that ended up in a #miserable situation for them and their family.

3. If people are #timely #informed, they will #accept the situation and start #preparing for any #challenges.

4. A #Leader with #Guilt eventually looses #selfconfidence , which results to a miserable crash ahead.

5. If you have been #fair and #ethical, you will be supported by the ones who truly #believe in you and your #vision, the situation will also serve as filter as you may get some wonderful feedback, suggestions, support to overcome challenges.

6. Also, when you share once it will result into self commitment to never end up in the same situation again.

7. If you end up so again and again, dont blame circumstances... pack up and let people pursue better opportunities elsewhere instead of making false assurances that are not only damaging to reputation but impact future of families associated with Organisation.
