Face IN a Book >FB

I don’t know about you, but not much beats shutting out the noise these days with a good book. Less Facebook and more face IN a book was again the mission in 2019.
My Top 10:
Know My Name, Chanel Miller
Dreyer's English, Benjamin Dryer
The Topeka School, Ben Lerner
Fleishman is in Trouble, Taffy Brodesser-Akner
Survival Math, Mitchell S. Jackson
Three Women, Lisa Tattoo
Killing Commendatore, Haruki Murakami
The MVP Machine, Ben Lindbergh & Travis Sawchik
The Library Book, Susan Orlean
Frederick Douglass, David W. Blight
My vote for Book of the Year goes to “Know My Name” by Chanel Miller, an astonishing work that left me staggered by the clout of its raw courage. I haven't been so affected by a book since “When Breath Becomes Air,” the posthumous memoir by Paul Kalanithi.
Here’s the full reading list. What’s on YOUR night stand? Happy 2020! #lowandbhold
