Our established construction client specialising in Facade is growing.due securing some large projects in booth Sydney and Melbourne.

We currently have a permanent role available for a Facade Project Manager to join thier team and we are offering a competitive salary. This is perfect opportunity to build a career at a leading construction firm.

Primary duties:

·????????Work closely for concept and detailed designs - specifically for facades, building envelope and related areas.

·????????Work closely with project management teams and assisting them as required.

·????????Striving to eliminate health and safety risks in the design and financial risks during construction.

·????????Supervising the shop drawings & material samples submittal & approval process

·????????Organising product delivery and installation

·????????Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion.

·????????Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.

·????????Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.

·????????Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.

·????????Select tools, materials and equipment and track inventory.

·????????Meet contractual conditions of performance.

·????????Review the work progress on daily basis.

·????????Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status.

·????????Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.

·????????Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licenses.

·????????Analyses, manage and mitigate risks.

·????????Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.

·????????Analysis of project contracts particularly the scope of works, Specification compliance and contractual conditions.

·????????Maintain close relationships with the Clients and Sub-contractors.

·????????Provide Value Engineering analysis for Ongoing Project.

·????????Working alongside the construction team and providing support with all material purchasing, fabrication. Understanding manufacturing facilities and assembly processes in order to achieve the best installation outcome.

·????????Manage the project, manage clients and consultant’s expectation, assess project progress and cost.?

·????????Monitor Design and Engineering, Factory production, Site Installation activities and resolves all schedule conflicts.

·????????Understanding and consulting with architects and consultant’s design and specifications and proposing improvements or value engineering.

·????????Responsible for producing relevant project specific deliverables for formal submission to the client consisting of Concept Design, Schematic Design, Detail Design Reports and specifications.

·????????Maintain team leading involvement with builders, architects and consulting engineers during the construction phases including design, system testing, providing samples, shop drawing and other document submissions, site inspections etc).

·????????Ensuring that the design process recognizes current legislation, standards and codes of practice as required.

·????????Attend site and design meetings as necessary.

·????????Liaise with suppliers and external engineers; be involved with prototype construction, travel overseas to inspect and approve production as required.

·????????Assist and support the Facade teams by maintaining and improving relationship with the building network and participating in business development.

Ideal but not compulsory: Estimating:

·????????Analyzing fa?ade tenders, evaluating scope of works and sending RFIs to builders.

·????????Providing preliminary sketches for the specified or equivalent fa?ade systems.

·????????Compiling preliminary pricing reviews and preparing accurate base cost for projects as necessary.

·????????Sourcing materials and liaising with suppliers, getting quotations for required materials, fabrication and installation costs, and preparing final tenders for the builders.

·????????Working autonomously alongside Fa?ade Estimate Manger, Design Manager and Project Manager.

Qualifications:

·????????The successful applicants will have a minimum of five years’ experience in project management – preferably in the facade environment. They will also have high developed written and oral communicating skills, excellent problem-solving skills and basic computer skills in programs such as Microsoft Office, Project, etc.

·????????Good forward planner.

·????????Knowledge of software including AutoCAD and BIM (Building Information Modeling), Microsoft Excel and Work programme. (Ideal but not Compulsory).

·????????Good communication and people skills.

·????????Excellent motivational and leadership skills.

·????????Work well under pressure.

·????????Ability to present ideas effectively.

·????????Able to evaluate ideas of others

·????????In-depth knowledge of all aspects of a construction project
