Fabtech 2023. Why do we consider participation productive for business?
ABAGY Robotic Systems
Robotic Welding. Autonomous Robots. AI & machine vision-based software. Just click & weld.
Fabtech is North America's largest industrial event, taking place in Chicago from September 11th to September 14th this year. Come visit our booth at B27022.
Why do we participate in Fabtech?
Last year was our first experience, and this year, we are back. There are probably three key reasons:
Why should you come to our booth B27022?
Just like last year, we will be showcasing our technologies.
Chicago serves as a convenient hub for us because our demo center in Buffalo Grove, near Chicago, is accessible not only during these few days but at any convenient time. However, during Fabtech, we have a concentrated opportunity for networking.
Many booths often demonstrate welding simulations. Indeed, organizing actual live welding is a quite complex task. However, we believe that without it, it's impossible to truly understand whether the technology works or not. That's why we follow this approach.
This year, our booth will feature a robotic cell with a Fanuc robot and positioner, along with a welding source from Lincoln.
ABAGY is compatible with a wide range of robotic and welding equipment brands, including Kuka, Yaskawa, Kawasaki, Panasonic, ABB, Fronius, Esab, Miller, and Lorch.
The live demo is designed with a user-friendly scenario that highlights the simplicity and power of ABAGY's technology. Attendees can place the part anywhere in the robotic workspace and define the welding seam and its parameters. With a simple click, the ABAGY software, powered by complex mathematical algorithms and machine vision, takes over. The robot interprets the instructions and promptly executes the weld, all without the need for manual programming.
Additionally, visitors will have the opportunity to examine actual components from customer production sites, for example, an Auger. Augers present a real challenge for welders, both human and robot.
Furthermore, attendees can observe aluminum components or those with intricate joint welds.
Once again, our booth number is B27022. The schedule tends to get quite busy, so we recommend booking demo time for your team in advance.
Session F126. What will we be discussing at the conference?
For the second year in a row, we are hosting a session at the conference. This year, we will be speaking on September 12th.
Visit our session F126 "Autonomous Robotic Welding. What is Breakthrough Technology Really Capable Of?". Date: September 12, 2023, Time: 12:00 pm – 1:30 pm

Our speakers:
David Suttle , Chief Revenue Officer at ABAGY
Randy Friedlander , Client Services Director at ABAGY
The session format allows for a detailed discussion of the solution's nuances and the production-proven cases.
David will explain what Autonomous Welding means. It's a term you hear more often, but its implications and what these technologies can do are not always obvious.
Randy, in his presentation, will focus on the financial aspects. It's crucial to find tools that allow you to assess the effectiveness of investments in robotics and calculate their return on investment.
You can register for the session on the Fabtech website at this link.
You can also submit a request for a personalized demo on our website abagy.com.
See you on September 11th in Chicago at Fabtech!
