?Description

-Establish and execute daily, weekly, and monthly objectives and clearly communicate expectation and achieve those goals activities in assigned production area including meeting cost objectives

-Prioritize production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, materials supply, sales forecast, and production ramp planning

-Provide technical assistance and back up to the department, as needed.

-Interpret manufacturing blueprints and plan machining progression.

-Oversee, assign, and develop personnel to ensure the efficient operation ?

-Ensure safe use of the equipment and schedule regular maintenance

-Inspect, and verify output according to specifications

-Timely reporting on performance, progress to senior managers

-Detect issues, recommend changes for efficiency, and implement as directed

-Cross departmental communications and interactions to ensure projects and schedules are being met

-Train new employees on how to use machinery and follow procedures safely

-Ensure strict adherence to safety guidelines and company standards

-Perform all supervisory functions including training, counseling, and personnel development

Requirements

-2+ years' experience working in a supervisory role

- Degree in engineering or other relevant experience is a plus

-Practical knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment, including welding, CAD and other machinery used in manufacturing

-Ability to lead a team, set priorities and meet deadline

-Experience and understanding of LEAN Manufacturing concepts

-Strong organizations and leadership skills

-Results driven, strong conflict resolution and solution oriented

-Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
