FAA To Release New Upgrade for the B4UFLY App

B4UFLY is an FAA-developed app designed to help drone pilots ensure safe and compliant flights. Before its recent update, the app provided crucial data like airspace restrictions, helping pilots avoid no-fly zones and comply with regulations. Previously, the app's development and distribution were significantly aided by the tech firm Aloft. However, Aloft recently introduced its own UAV flight planning tool, Air Aware, marking its departure from the B4UFLY project. This move raised concerns about B4UFLY's future. The FAA's upgrade to B4UFLY, featuring enhanced functionalities and new partnerships, aims to sustain and improve the app's utility for drone operators. Read More
