F1 on water_WGP#1 in Ostrów Warcki

It was an ordinary Saturday when I decided to go for a motorcycle ride in the morning. One day before from my colleague I heard about a great event on the lake organized in about 80 km from ?ód?. So the goal for a trip was automatically set, go to Jeziorsko in the Warta commune. ?

What I saw, was so amazing that it's worth spreading here.

For the second year in a row, the prestigious world series competition of water Jet Ski federation IJSBA was held in the ?ód? Province. The extremely demanding and at the same time very spectacular competition, which fans could see live at the Jeziorsko Yacht Port in Ostrów Warcki.

First of all, I would like to emphasize that the importance of this event is as if we hosted F1 or Moto GP in Poland. Jet ski in the highest so-called The royal classes, the GP1, have engines with a power of up to 600 horsepower and accelerate to a speed of 100 km / h in 2.5 seconds.

As part of the competition, the best competitors in the world fought for the medals of the European Jet Ski Championships of the American IJSBA federation. Moreover, the points scored in Poland will be included in the classification of the Jet Ski World Series,?the next rounds of which will be held in the United States and Thailand. The importance of the event is proved by the fact that the races of the highest classes were broadcast on Eurosport television.?So my observation was - Why there was no any Polish TV to broadcast it...?

This post should be primarily about positive people thanks to whom this event was hosted in our country for the second year in row. It's worth to underline that Poland won the competition with Belgium about organization of such prestigious competitions mainly due to Anna Jachimek, the best female Polish Jet Ski riders and the president of Prima Jet ?ód?.

I had a chance to spent few hours and met persoanly Anna Jachimek (you can find her https://www.facebook.com/anna.jachimek or https://www.instagram.com/ania_jachimek_32 ). She is a member of the Polish Motorboat and Water Skiing Association, European champion, multiple Polish champion, winner of the Dziennik ?ódzki's plebiscite for the athlete of the decade and 3'rd among Ladies Riders at the World Ski Jet Championships 2021 - in Runabout GP4 class and she won last year competition in Ostrów Warcki in the class IJSBA _Spark ladies .?

And I was wondering - ?Who knows Ms. Anna Jachimek in Poland ? Considering her sport achievements from my perspective she should be as recognizable as for example: Mateusz Kusznierewicz or Waldemar Marsza?ek ?who are both verty titled and connected with Water Sports.?As an athlete, she represents our country with dignity, which we should be proud of.

I have some thoughts - in Poland Ski Jumping is very popular but except for a handful of people who train this discipline, ordinary people are not even have a chance to try it. But all events related to Ski Jumping - are broadcasted live and web sites and news are full of results. So if we took into consideration that Jet Ski are used by more than several thousands of people across the Poland and motor sport is very popular in our country - I can't understand why this sport doesn't have enough attention dedicated by media.?

What's even more important for our voivodeship - during that event so for more than week all hotels within 40 km were fully booked and full of people from all over the world. Finally and thanks to this event our Wladys?aw Reymont Air Port at ?ód? was used more intensively than regular?because of planes which landed with equipment and riders.?

While exploring the information about this event in the comfort of my home, I read about the honorary patronage over this event. On the one hand, I think it's a lot. But on the other hand, I was wondering if any public institution sponsored this event in any way? I think it's nice to shine in the splendor of world-class events. But what these types of events need is not mental but physical support (media, logistic, advertisement, presence of public people during the event, sponsors etc.) to be even better organized or to be able to just repeated it, in a next year.?

It is worth emphasizing a support of several institutions and companies without which this event could not take place: first of all, the support of the Mayor of the Warta Commune - Mr. Krystian Krogulecki - who made the port with the reservoir available and ensured access to electricity. The Marshal's Office in ?ód? also contributed its donation by co-financing the event. Thanks to EVE-Energy, it was possible to broadcast live, thanks to an additional power generator. The company Profilaktyka i Zdrowie took care of the health of the participants. The whole event was integrated & sponsord by Taurus Sea Power - BRP Polska -?Sea Doo.

I would like to encourage companies to show themselves at this event and use it as an opportunity for attracting a new clients: #fox, #redbull ,#o'neill, #oakley, #100%, #monsterenergy, #airoh, #leatt, #gopro, #quiksilver, #jetpilot, #scott ....and many many others -?Where were you ? -?You should be present?in Ostrów Warcki - because most of riders were using your equipment. Finally, I would like to thank fate for the opportunity to meet Ania and other wonderful and involved people. I wish her further success. I believe that this event will take place there next year, and I will come with my children to support her and others participants of this great competition.

PS. Since we are on a business portal, I must emphasize how much such an event translates into business results - it is worth to mention that the nearest gas station ran out of fuel :), hotels and restaurants were full, many guests visited ?ód? and other cities in Poland. Those people spent a lot of money and collected many positive memories about Poland - and definitely they will come back soon ... it's worth to continue this story
