The F Word Blog is Back!
Hello!? And yes, I’m back!
It’s been a while hasn’t it?
And Oh My Goodness I’ve got SO much to tell you!
Honestly, I’ve been trying to restart my blog for the last couple of years but my business took a different direction where I’ve been hands-on as a fractional CFO for a number of agencies and consultancies across the UK, and it’s been a super intense time.
The last couple years have been a serious up-level. Alongside helping my clients navigate these perma-crisis challenging times, I've been deep diving into courses and podcasts, books and bootcamps; everything and anything to keep growing my skills and knowledge.
But writing my blog was always a great joy having written it weekly for over 12 years, so I"m excited to be back sharing my knowledge, ideas and passion with you.
Welcome to the next chapter of the F Word Blog!
As always my mission is simple: I want to help you turn your business into something that’s not just surviving, but growing in value. Something that's rock-solid, consistently profitable, financially resilient and ready for anything.
I believe that every business owner deserves the freedom that comes with financial stability and the peace of mind of knowing your future is secure, not left to chance. When you melt away financial stress and uncertainty, you're freed up to chase your dreams and potential.
You deserve to feel secure about your future, and I want to help you get there. I’m here to nudge you out of that day-to-day hustle and get you thinking big picture.
Let’s start making moves that count. What are you really building here? How are you setting yourself up for growth that lasts, and for a business that’s going to be around for the long haul, or ready to sell.
You can count on getting no-nonsense practical advice you can actually use. I'm talking things that will boost your profits, get your cash flowing and build your value.
Coming Up Next Week: What's Your Plan?
Next week, I'm kicking things off by getting back to basics: What’s your plan?
It might sound simple, but you’d be surprised how many business owners I meet who don’t have a clear game plan anymore. Sure, they might’ve had one before Covid turned everything upside down, but now? It’s more like just getting through the week.
In next week’s post, we’re going to break it down. I’ll show you how to create, or dust off and refresh, a business plan that actually works for you. And in a way that's practical for a small company.
